Abstract:
Recently IceCube collaboration presented the evidence for high energy extraterrestrial neutrinos, the nature of these neutrinos is still unknown and opens the possibility to new physics explanations. In this talk I will present a geometric analysis of the sky map of the IceCube TeV-PeV neutrino excess and test its compatibility with the sky map of decaying dark matter signals. I will also show several representative decaying dark matter spectra, which can provide a good fit to the observed spectrum at IceCube, with dark matter lifetime of around 12 orders of magnitude longer than the age of the universe.
