My name is Miguel García Folgado, a Physics graduate from the University of Valencia. I started my undergraduate studies in 2010 and finished in 2015, during which I received a collaboration scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport, and a research initiation contract at the Institute of Corpuscular Physics (IFIC). I completed my Master’s in Advanced Physics at the University of Valencia in 2016, supported by a Severo Ochoa program contract at IFIC. Between 2016 and 2021, I pursued a PhD in Astroparticle Physics at the University of Valencia, achieving the highest honors with Cum Laude and International mentions, and an extraordinary doctoral award. My research focused on phenomenological models of dark matter and their new physics implications, alongside developing Deep Learning models for various knowledge areas, including natural language processing (NLP).

After my PhD, I was awarded a Margarita Salas grant for a two-year postdoctoral position at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, developing AI and Deep Learning models for different fields, with a particular focus on climate change. Currently, I am on a postdoctoral contract with the CSIC at the Institute of Corpuscular Physics, focusing on Deep Learning and high-performance computing (HPC).
